Capture the Moment: Pulitzer Prize Photographs
Joe Rosenthal's famous 1945 photo of soldiers raising the American flag on Mount Suribachi is but one of the striking photographs in Capture the Moment: Pulitzer Prize Photographs, an exhibit from the Newseum.
Each photo is accompanied by the photographer's biography. Many of the photographs depict war and related disturbing images, such as Eddie Adams' famous photo "Viet Cong Execution." Others photos include the birth of a baby and the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan.
